Steering Wheel Lock Straps

This design of the steering wheel ‘lock straps’ was introduced by Intertrade in 1973 for use with their car ‘ambulances’, car dollies and spec. lifts.
The straps are necessary to keep the front wheels of the casualty vehicle straight and prevent them from steering when towing rearwards, i e. when the back wheels are up on the implement and the front wheels are on the ground.
